Knitting Preview: November 7, 2020 Issue

knitting preview

We’re here to help you beat the chills in this week’s knitting preview, with our cosy sweater and hat.

Both feature Rico yarns.

The sweater is worked in Rico Creative Smile in the shade Snow (011). It’s a mix of natural browns, creams and greys that form a self-striping effect.

The yarn is a mix of wool and acrylic which means it is cosy and hardwearing. To view the other shades in the range, or to order direct, go to www.myyarnery.co.uk.

The sweater features a simple textured pattern, worked over eight rows with minimum shaping.

It is designed to be loose fitting. Sizes range from 81/86 cm (32/24 ins) to 102/107 cm (40/42 ins). Actual size is around 37/32 cm (16/14 ins) bigger, making it perfect over layers.

For the hat, we have used Rico Fashion Cozy Up! In Grey (005). You can make it with or without the pompom, your choice.

The simple rib and stocking-stitch design will work up in no time. Again, you can find out more about the yarn at www.myyarnery.co.uk.

We love this combination which will be perfect for the chillier days ahead.
