Keep it simple is the message in this week’s knitting preview.
As the days get colder, you will want a cosy sweater that you can make and wear quickly. This one certainly fits the bill.
There are instructions for eight sizes, ranging from 81 cm (32 ins) to 117 cm (46 ins) with an ease of around 10 cm (4 ins).
Front and back are each worked in a simple stocking stitch (knit one row, purl one row) and the sleeves in a K2, P2 rib with classic raglans.
The yarn used is Rico Design Essentials Mega Merino Chunky, a wool and acrylic mix.
We selected shade Orange (005), which is very much the colour of the moment.
If you prefer another shade, there are 16 shades in total to choose from. You can view them and order from www.woolwarehouse.co.uk.
If you want to beat the chills this winter, then this is the sweater for you.
If this knitting preview has encouraged you to pick up your needles again, remember we have patterns in every issue.
