We’ve gone vintage with our choice for you this week.
Our fitted cardigan features a trellis-pattern which adds extra interest. The pattern is repeated on the sleeves and back, too.
The Technical Stuff
Our cardigan is worked in six sizes ranging from 76/81 cm (30/32 ins) to 127/132 cm (50/52 ins). It is gently shaped at the waist to give a more fitted effect. The trellis pattern is worked over 17 stitches and is created by worked just two pattern rows. We have graded it Intermediate.
The yarn is 100 per cent cotton. It is a white base with sprinkles of colour adding extra interest. We have used the shade Spice which adds dashes of blue and pink/peach to the mix. There are six shades in all to choose from, all with a white base. To make your cardigan you will need between four and six 100-gram balls and five buttons.
We have shown this worn for summer on its own, but you could pop a t-shirt or a fine long-sleeved top underneath it, too, for extra versatility.
