Beat the chills in our cosy, longer-length tunic.
The Technical Stuff
This tunic comes to you in five sizes ranging from 76/81 cm (30/32 ins) to 117/122 cm (46/48 ins). Actual size is 9 – 14 cm (3¾ – 5¾ ins) bigger giving you room to wear something underneath.
The back is longer than the front for a fashionable effect and the crossover neckline is both practical and flattering.
The tunic is worked in simple stitches, stocking-stitch (knit one row, purl one row) and moss-stitch which is a variation of a rib. The entire garment is worked on 6 mm needles in a chunky yarn.
The yarn used is King Cole Twirly Tweed Chunky, a swirling yarn which features multi-coloured flecks amongst its core tones, making each garment unique. We have used shade Marshmallow which features grey, blue and beige tones flecked with stronger shades.
You will need four to six 150-gram balls to make it and the first size costs around £24 to make – great value – and there are eight shades to choose from in total.
This is a tunic to suit all ages and it will knit up quickly. Why not visit www.kingcole.com to find out where your nearest stockist is and give it a go.
