We’re bringing you some 4-ply knitting in this week’s knitting preview.
Our readers often ask us to include this sort of thing in the magazine. And here it is!
It is worked in King Cole Drifter 4-Ply in shade Bluebell (4235). This is a variegated yarn that conjures up the colours of summer gardens under a blue sky. To find out more about the yarn or your local stockist, visit www.kingcole.com.
We have instructions for six sizes ranging from 76/81 cm (30/32 ins) to 127/132 cm (50/52 ins). Actual size is 10/5 cm (4/2 ins) bigger so we would recommend you work your usual size.
The lace panel is worked on the front and back and consists of a 12-row repeat. The pattern includes the usual lace stitches — nothing too difficult but you do need to keep count. For this reason, we have graded this as Intermediate.
Short sleeves, a square neckline and garter stitch edgings complete the look.
