We’re knitting a versatile tank top for you this week.

Our unisex tank top is perfect for all ages, shapes and sizes. It is the ideal way to add an extra layer and look stylish.
We have used Stylecraft ReCreate DK in Avocado (3189). There are lots of other shades available if you would prefer an alternative.
ReCreate is a blended yarn made entirely from recycled fibres and lends itself to designs like this one, which feature strong stitch definition. It is machine washable and can be tumble dried. The ball-band will give you full care instructions.
The tank top comes in six sizes ranging from 76/81 cm (30/32 ins) to 127/132 cm (50/52 ins). Actual size is approx. 17/12 cm (6½/4½ ins) bigger to offer a comfortable fit.
The textured pattern is worked over six rows featuring basic knit and purl stitches plus knit or purl into the back of the stitch to create the definition. We have graded this an easy design.
Finally, there is minimum shaping, just the armholes and shoulders and a simple neck line on the front.
Ribbed armhole and neck edgings complete the look.
