Knitting Preview: July 20, 2019
Our edge-to-edge knitted jacket features a twisted cable throughout and is worked in King Cole Bamboo Cotton DK.
It is a lovely yarn which is make entirely of natural fibres, ideal for those with sensitive skin.
There are instructions for five sizes ranging from 76/81 cm (30/32 ins), to 117/122 cm (46/48 ins). Actual size varies but is approx. 10 – 15 cm (4 – 6 ins) which will give a comfortable fit over a summer outfit.
We have chosen shade Lemon, it zings with freshness and is very much in fashion at the moment. However, there are 30 shades to choose from if you prefer another colour. You can view them and find your nearest stockist at www.kingcole.com.
We have marked this design Intermediate. The pattern is worked over 28 rows so it is important to note which row you are working on. You create the cable effect with a twist stitch so there is no need for a cable needle. Just be careful when decreasing to follow the useful tip on counting stitches.
