Let’s look at the stories and serials in this week’s issue.
Our Opening story this week is Pamela Kavanagh’s “The Journeyman’s Trial”, set in the 1890s. Jasper must choose – submit his best work to the Guild, or help a girl in need? With artwork from Ruth Blair (above).

A new five-part serial, set in 1817, starts today – “Beyond The Masquerade”, by Kitty-Lydia Dye. To Laura, it seems that the gap between rich and poor in Norwich has never been greater…Artwork by Helen Welsh.
In the penultimate instalment of “Welcome To Hannah’s House”, one guest at the braai hasn’t been invited…by Ginny Swart, it’s illustrated throughout by Ged Fay.
