Willie’s View: The Howe Of Fife

Howe Of Fife

Join our Willie Shand as he explores the Howe Of Fife, just across the water from our offices in Dundee.

The Howe Of Fife is a wide area of flat farmland in the middle of the county, so all the hills around the edge offer great views.

Willie was nice enough to take this video while out in the nearby Ochil Hills, in preparation for an upcoming feature in “The People’s Friend”. So look out for that one coming soon, too!

He’s off for a wander up Down Law in this quick video. (“Law” is an old Scottish word meaning “hill”).

Willie’s images regularly appear on our front covers. Do you fancy trying your hand at painting a “Friend” front cover? We’ve got a competition for you to become one of our cover artists . . .

If Willie’s wanders have inspired you to take a trip, why not see what fantastic experiences DC Thomson Travel can offer you? Not only are they adding new destinations all the time, there are plenty of great deals, too!

You can also find more inspiration on our travel pages. There’s also a lot to see in the regular features in the weekly magazine, or in our Specials.
