The Exit Interview: Out-going Fiction Ed Shirley

interview

Did you catch our interview with out-going Fiction Ed Shirley last week?

It was over on our Facebook page, in place of our regular Facebook Live broadcast.

Mairi from the Features team was the one with all the questions. We thought it was fitting she be involved, seeing as she’s our newest member of staff.

She’s only been here for a few months, and Shirley was more than happy to give her some tips, gleaned over her 44 years at DC Thomson! And to share some of her favourite memories, too.

The story about her trip to an operating theatre was quite a surprise . . . I can see why that one stayed with her!

Take a look at the full interview below.

Fascinating stuff. And entertaining, too!

We’ll miss you, Shirley! But — onwards and upwards with new Fiction Ed Lucy.
