The “Noughties” saw the Queen celebrate her Golden Jubilee.
The BBC’s “Doctor Who” returned to our screens, too. And the Scottish Parliament building in Edinburgh officially opened.
Technology was advancing at a great pace. Email addresses and websites beginning to appear in our features, for example. Home computers and mobile phones began to appear.
