We have a versatile tank top for you this week.

Our tank top features a honeycomb pattern with a stocking-stitch yoke and square neckline.

Worked in Rico Creative Melange Aran Wonderball in the shade Forest (024), it comes in six sizes ranging from 76/81 cm (30/32 ins) to 127/132 cm (50/52 ins).

Actual size is around 13/8 cm (5/3 ins) larger giving a comfortable fit over an under layer.

Rico Creative Melange Aran Wonderball is a blend of virgin wool and acrylic yarn that is soft to the touch and shows the colour changes to maximum effect. It comes in 200-g balls and the first two sizes can be worked from just one ball at a cost of around £20.

We have graded this an intermediated design.

The textured honeycomb pattern is worked front and back over a 12-row pattern. Honeycomb stitch can be a bit fiddly to work, so if you are new to it, we would recommend you take time to practise it first.

Tank tops are being worn everywhere this autumn, and we think this one is a real winner!
