The longlist for this year’s Booker Prize is amongst its most culturally and geographically diverse.

And that’s going to make for some great reads!

Take a look at the books below:

Which of these do you think you’ll pick up from the local bookshop when you have the chance?

Having read a couple of Kazuo Ishiguro books in the past, I’m personally looking forward to “Klara And The Sun”!

The 13 books on this year’s longlist were chosen by a judging panel made up of:

  • historian Maya Jasanoff (chair)
  • writer and editor Horatia Harrod
  • actor Natascha McElhone
  • twice Booker-shortlisted novelist and professor Chigozie Obioma
  • writer and former Archbishop Rowan Williams

The list was chosen from 158 novels published in the UK or Ireland between 1 October 2020 and 30 September 2021.

The Booker Prize for Fiction is open to works by writers of any nationality, written in English and published in the UK or Ireland.
