How To Crochet A Popcorn Pattern Sweater
We have chosen Stylecraft Charm 4-ply yarn for this design. Its blend of acrylic, wool and mohair has a very light and delicate feel, while the mix of shades works up reveal beautiful subtle colour changes.
We have chosen the shade Moorland (1861) and you can view the other shades available and find your local stockist at www.stylecraft-yarns.co.uk.
The sweater comes in six sizes ranging from 76/81 cm (30/32 ins) to 127/132 cm (50/52 ins). Actual size is around 23/16 cm (8/6 ins) bigger giving a comfortable fit.
We have graded our sweater as an Intermediate design. The popcorn pattern is created over three rows and the remainder of the top is worked in treble stitches.
If you have not worked popcorn stitches before, maybe take a little time to practise them first.
This is a lovely sweater for crossing the seasons and perfect for all ages. We hope it will inspire you to pick up your crochet hook and get started.
