We’ll never miss a chance to show off dog pictures here at the “Friend”.
And seeing as today is International Dog Day, when the world celebrates man’s best friend — including those who have started life in shelters around the world, and who are looking for a new home.
We also celebrate those dogs that work hard at a range of important occupations.
And with our “Dogs With Jobs” series in full swing in the weekly mag, this seems like the perfect time reuse this wonderful photo from our August 15 issue . . .

But what happens when one of our furry friends meets mischievous office cat, Marmalade?

He looks a little unsure . . .
Design Editor Jaclyn’s dog, Buttons, seemed to get on a lot better when he met our intrepid feline, as you can see above!
